Croatia - Kode Basket 55 - 62
Since this game was very important for us to win, we
were really tensed for the second game against BK Croatia. We had to
win if we wanted to have a fair chance to reach the fourth division
next year.
Our coach made sure that the refs knew that this was an important game and maybe, just maybe this influenced them just a little bit, cause they made some really hard calls now and then. This led to foultrouble for Daniel Solving early in the game and he got fouled out already in the first half.
Anyway, we were able to go to halftime with a small lead and in the second half it was Croatia´s turn to be in foultrouble. They got five players fouled out and had to finish the game with only four players.
Our free-throw shooting was no good this day, and if it hadn´t been for Jesper Wallmander´s good free-throw shooting in the second half we wouldn´t have made the 30 % mark. Now we hit about 50 % but still we really need to work on that.
With this victory we took a big step against the fourth division.
