Detta släktträd avser släkten de Marés eller de Marets (även andra stavningar förekommer), som härstammar från andre sonen till baronen Jean de Bousies, som levde i trakten av Cambrai i norra Frankrike på 1000-talet. Generationerna fr o m Jean de Bousies är markerade med stora siffror längst till vänster i trädet. Trädet har från generation 17 av praktiska skäl delats upp så att de sex grenar som kan urskiljas har fördelats på fyra sidor. Är det någon som vill ha detta släktträd helt eller delvis kan jag skicka det som filer i Publisher- eller PowerPoint-format.

According to the book The Demarest Family (New Brunswick, New Jersey 1938) Jacques had three sons, Francois born ~1555, Pierre born ~1560 and Jean born ~ 1566.
And according to the same book Jacques’ son Jean was born ~ 1566, Married to Maria de Vos and Deacon, later Elder in the French Reformed Church at Norwich, England.
The information however is based on research by Louis Piers de Boer, who today has a reputation as a poor researcher, and, in some circles, as a deliberate fabricator. So we don´t know for sure that Francois and Pierre and Jean born ~1566 really are Jacques´ sons.
