Situated some 5 kms south of Ronneby, the island of Karoen is beautiful but tiny - just some 200 meters off the mainland in the Baltic Sea. On the island there are some 15 villas built in the late 19th century giving an ancient feeling of a spa resort's architecture. Then Ronneby was known for its healthy water (discovered back in 1705). The Spa - Ronneby Brunn - is the place for The Swedish Cup - a unique competiotion for divers.

I am lucky to have the opportunity vacationing here - last 15 years I started to renovate the old house with a break building a new little hut in 2004.
