Lion II
The lion has always had a mythological relationship to man. This so -called king has always been a symbol of respect. This situation changed greatly under colonial times when hunting became an accepted tradition. Later the lion suffered another blow when he was introduced in zoos throughout the world over. During the lions hayday, they roamed in flocks hunting zebra and ox, awaiting together in silence before springing suprise attacks on its prey. Nowadays the lions have been chased into limited areas of habitat long away from the threat of the modern world.
