CHEETAH

The cheetah is known as one of the fastest animals in the jungle. Traveling at speeds of up to 125 km per hour , the cheetah can hunt for food on his own. One of the secrets to his great speed is the fact that the cheetah uses his claws to get better tracktion, the same way football shoes hold to the turf. Given natural coloring, he is very hard to detect as he awaits in the tall grass. Few of it's prey can withstand the great "footrace" that this speedy cat offers. As great this animal is, he is in threat of extinction due to hunting and poachers.
