Well this is going to be a page with links that I find interesting for some reason or another. Of course, the place where all queries start these days is Google, good or bad as that may be, it is a good site. I have very rarely needed to go more than a couple pages deep to find what I was looking for. And they recently added about 1 billion pages or something.
The internet can make anyone a serious news junkie. I usually check CNN first, even though I don't find it especially fantastic. After the overview CNN provides I turn to The New York Times for a more in-depth view. Then BBC News and Sweden's Aftonbladet for a more international perspective. From there to the Green Bay Press Gazette and the Badger Herald (Madison student paper) for the news from back home. Then maybe the Drudge Report for a overview of different sources and a thorough listing of columnists and papers. Sometimes NPR for a different perspective and good real-player freebies. No FOX for me. Ever since watching them play that stupid Saddam statue falling over again and again while listening to Shepard Smith declare the end of hostilities, FOX has just felt a bit strange. For dessert The Onion, Madison's Pride and America's Finest News Source.
