Tiltic (Hi level indicator sensor for extremely rough environment)

Tiltic is a mercury free sensor that works with optical measurement principal inside the device.
When the sensor is tilted more than 17° from straight down the sensor indicate this.
The Tiltic sensor has been appreciated for its simplicity, hi reliability and low price.
A typical application for Tiltic can be to indicate the level of rocks in a mining facility or in a stone crusher.
The sensor is often used as a hi level alarm indicator for solid material in industrial applications.
Tiltic is normally used with the electronic unit 2402 but can also be used stand-alone.
The 2402 electronic unit is powered whit 230 VAC or 24VDC and contains an 8 Amp   relay.
The electronic unit has a relay on and a relay off time that can be set by two knobs.
The time interval is from 0 to 10 seconds.
The 2402 unit can power up to 3 sensors in parallel, and in this way enable a Boolean OR function.
This product has been on the market since 1993 and was developed after the Swedish legislation against mercury in any type of product was implemented.

The electronic control unit sets the time to energise/dienergise the relay and how sensitive the sensor shall be. The sensitivity and function of the device is controlled by two knobs telling the relay on and relay off time (variable from 0 to 10 sec). Whith a switch on top of the 2402 you can select if you want the relay to be normaly conected or normaly open (NC/NO).
