ARGLIM stands for Alpine & Rock Gardening Literature Index --
Monographs, a bibliography of alpine gardening and related subjects compiled by me. This
is a project originally based on the ARGLI literature list from 1995, a cooperative effort
founded by Harry Dewey, the moderator of the hugely successful Alpine-L mailing list. Take
a look on their archives at http://listserv.surfnet.nl/archives/alpine-l.html
From the archive you may also apply for membership to Alpine-L.
I have updated and expanded the monograph part of the original ARGLI literature list to a more comprehensible bibliography. The first edition was published in June 1999. New editions have appeared each year. The 7th edition is now published (March 2005). The bibliography now contains some 2500 references. My intention is to maintain, revise and update this bibliography periodically.
I am grateful to Harry Dewey for encouraging me to undertake and publish this bibliography.
