I never was a metalhead until my early 20's. Even I thought they are just screaming, not making
any kind of sense. Things have taken a slight turn since then. Now I'm into stuff as Cradle of Filth,
Hypocrisy, Edge of Sanity, Fear Factory, Bloodthorn, Sepultura, In Flames, At the Gates, Carnal
Forge, Strapping Young Lad, Necrophobic, Morbid Angel, Infestdead, Diabolical Masquerade etc…
But my split personality also requires stuff as Marillion, Anathema, Queensr, Alice in Chains,
Creed, Pearl Jam, Matchbox Twenty, Heroes del Silencio, Unicorn, Tiamat, Seven Mary Three,
Marty Friedman, Nightingale, Radiohead, Days of the New, Stone Temple Pilots, The Gathering etc…
My addiction is complete. There is never a day that passes without Metal. I never listen to the radio,
just CD's and MP3's. In the early years I listened to my older brother's records, like Depeche Mode,
Yazoo, Simple Minds, U2 and such, luckily I got into Heavy Metal via Guns 'n Roses and Metallica.
And after that, it just got deeper and deeper. I heavily give my thanks to Dan Swanö, who believed
in my ability to design and write lyrics, and for introducing me to Marillion, Nightingale, Unicorn
and many other soft-prog-melodic rock. I thank you from the depths of my heart, You are the King.
