Kobashi completed a $10 million move, from Snake River Venom to Omnidoom on
June 23, 2001. Bought by boss Olof Råborg as the man to fill the void left
by T_Wyst in the defensive line-up. Kinjiru has told the Japanese press
that he is happy with the conditions offered by the ambitiouse division 3
club and is hoping to be a future first-choice replacement for the strong
central defenders Tetis and West. Kinjiru is strong in the tackle with a
quick mind and even quicker feet. He is a great tackler and plays with
determination and aggression, although he is also a very temperamental
player. Combative, tenacious and fiercely competitive Kobashi's career has
been blighted by a woeful disciplinary record with suspensions ultimately
depriving him of more appearances. Nevertheless, Kobashi remains an
influential character both on and off the pitch.
