christmas eve
"The Uganda/Kenya team is abounding with the favor of the LORD
and is full of his blessing; they will inherit southward to the lake."
(Deut 33:23)
"Oh Lord, we ask for the nations; oh Lord we ask for Uganda"
After waiting on the Lord a little while, Emily felt we should encourage
each other, as a Christmas gift. We never got around to everybody doing
it then but Genevieve encouraged us to keep doing it thoughout the day,
not hold back encouragement. Also, none of the gifts we have is anything
without LOVE.
We also spent a lot of time thanking God.

christmas day
We went to church - Namirembe Christian Fellowship - with Trevor
in the morning. We were introduced to the congregation and got to listen
to the famous Pastor Simeon Kayiwa preach.
Back home we had lunch and in the evening neighbours and friends were
invited to Trevor's for a Christmas party. We had some entertainment
like different people talking about Christmas in their home countries
and Genevieve and Michèle singing "Silent Night" in German. Then we had
a lot of food: goat, matoke, vegetables, rice... and Rick tried Jane's
hot sauce for the first time. A bit of a shock I believe. Then people
started dancing to the African music playing and the team enjoyed dancing too (except Elin,
she's too cool to dance).
