back in kampala

So we have breakfast together around the table again, and as usual it's one of the most entertaining moments of the day. The day before, we had talked about how we should not break any chair (someone almost did) because we'd have to go get a new one and ride back with it on a bodaboda. So this breakfast, Greg Newman arrives. Benjie gets up to hug... Rick?? (why I don't know, one would think he'd hug Greg - but then it's Benjie and Rick, so...), Rick pulls back and somehow Benjie falls down on his chair, breaks one of the legs on it and falls backwards. Of course. I mean, why wouldn't we break a chair when we've just talked about not doing it?

Once back in Kampala Grace went to see the doctor about her collar bone. It turned out that the plate that was put in had been bent and the screws pulled out (some of them) and the bone was broken again, so she needs surgery again. Her dad wasn't sure he wanted her to do it here, so he came out again on Wednesday and he and Grace went to see the doctor together. The verdict would come after that.
They come back and we meet, and Grace tells us she's going home on Friday. She's got a doctor's appointment at home on Monday and maybe she could even have surgery that same day, and she's coming back to Switzerland as soon as possible. Hopefully she could even get back for report back. That'd be amazing.

We started debriefing on Wednesday afternoon since we wanted to do as much of it as possible while Grace is still here. All the students have five questionnaires to fill out and then we talk about it with the leaders of the same sex.
