PURPLE DRAGONS

In the morning the Purple Dragons arrived. Chris, Ian (Flawas), JJ and Will Newman. It was nice to meet them - they're really cool guys!

In the conference, Emily spoke on purity/holiness and with that shared her testimony. Chris spoke on prophecy, Ian led som eworship and then they had some words for people in the congregation.

In the afternoon Laura got the opportunity to teach the congregation the song Arise and Shine. The Purple Dragons did some practical stuff on prophecy and answered questions.

In the crusade Rick and Michèle rapped, we did Stomp which was horrible without Benjie, Life, Freedom, Hands and the prayer dance. Ian and Will did some worship and Chris spoke. By the way - Trevor is up there introducing Will, telling the people he's got a sister who's part of the YWAM team - "and tomorrow she's coming here to Mityana"! We didn't have a clue, no one told us before!

NEW MEN

In the morning the Purple Dragons prayed for the YWAM team for more passion et c, which was really good. Laura felt she should stay back but the rest of us (YWAM) went to the church where we were for the conference. We though the Purple Dragons would be there too but they seemed to have been captured by some crazy Africans who thought they should come to their church instead. We had a slot in the service.

Genevieve spoke on love and then we did Holy is the Lord but because Laura wasn't there, Genevieve had to do it with us instead and she didn't know it completely so it was really funny and we were laughing through basically the whole thing. Then Rick shared his testimony (which, by the way, is amazing) which he/Genevieve had felt when we prayed before. The whole time we were waiting for Grace and her dad (who was going to speak) to come. After Rick, Emily got up and shared her testimony because she felt she should, then Matt shared his and about hearing God's voice. It was really cool how so many of us got up and shared testimonies. After that they did some worship and finally Grace, Greg (Mr Newman) and Trevor came. It was such a happy moment. Grace was doing so well - thanks to God because only the day before she'd almost throw up as soon as she got out of bed. By this time Well was there too and so they got all three of them up on stage to speak a bit and Mr Newman shared a word.

The crusade will be a personal testimony from me (Elin) because it was pretty cool. I actually didn't really want to go because I didn't have any motivation or passion for it anymore. I know exactly what a crusade is gonna be like: it's the worship, then some testimonies, we have our slot, then someone preaches and does the altar call, a bunch of mostly kids come up, who probably came up the night before, and the night before that too (or it might be real, but that's how it feels), we pray for them, then we pray for healing for sick people. Then it's the film and we leave. And for me it was so boring and I didn't know why I did it anymore.
