BINNIE KRISTAL-ANDERSSON Doctor Binnie Kristal-Andersson, Registered Psychotherapist, Psychologist and Supervisor, is director of the Psychotherapy and Psychology office in Stockholm South. For over twenty- five years, she has worked as a psychologist, psychotherapist and supervisor in private practice with individuals, couples, families and groups. She has also worked with different companies and organizations, municipal and county clinics and hospitals, and governmental and private- insurance companies in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. The Swedish Psychological Association has afforded Binnie Kristal-Andersson authorization as Specialist in Clinical Psychology (treatment, counseling, supervision, counsultation and special measures). Binnie Kristal-Andersson came to Sweden from New York over thirty years ago and is fluent in Swedish. She has worked extensively with the psychological difficulties, crises and traumas of Swedes, refugees and immigrants of all ages and backgrounds in psychotherapy and support work (individual, couple family and group). Binnie Kristal-Andersson has worked in psychotherapy and support work, and supervised and trained other professionals, in relation to various life-crises and changes that woman, men and youth go through. She has also treated other psychological difficulties, such as: worry, confusion, anxiety, depression, mourning reactions, relationship and separation problems, sexual difficulties and deviations, alchohol and drug abuse, anorexia, bulimina, incest, torture and other traumas caused by outer occurrences. She also work with and supervises others in treatment of the borderline personality and more complicated conditions. Binnie Kristal-Andersson was one of the first persons in Sweden to shed light on outer and inner difficulties that can arise when people live in a new country. She has many years of experience in psychotherapy and support work with refugees, traumatized and/or tortured refugees, and immigrants of all ages. For many years, Binne Kristal-Andersson has been av supervisor, consultant, lecturer and organizer on various courses related to mental health. Binnie Kristal Andersson is also a poet and writer. |
