Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him, but John tried to hinder him, saying, " I need to be baptized by You, and why are You coming to me? Jesus replied to him,"Permit it to be so now, for so it is needful for us to fulfil all righteousness". Then he allowed Him to come.
At once after His baptism Jesus came up from the water and behold the heavens were opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him.

Six days later Jesus took along Peter, James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves. In wiev of them He was trasfigured: His face shone like the sun and His clothes became white as a light. Moses and Elijah also appered to them as they conversed with Him. Then Peter addressed Jesus. "Lord, it is good that we are here. If You approve, I shall make here three booths, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah".
While he was still talking, a bright clound overshadowed them and a voice from the clound said, " This is My beloved Son, in whom I am delighted:listen to him. As the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces in great fear; but Jesus, coming forward, touched them and said, "Stand up and have no fear". And, raising their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus alone.
A they were coming down from the mountain, Jesu commanded them. "Do not mention the vision to anyone untill the Son of Man is raised from the dead.

Then He conducted tem out as far Bethany and raising His hands, He blessed them. While He blessed them He was parted from and taken up into heaven. They worshipped Him and went back to Jesrulem with great joy. And they were constantly, in the temple, praising God.

By the cross of Jesus stood His mother, and His mother´s sister. Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene. Then Jesus, seeing His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing there, said to His mother. "Women, there is your son". Then to the disciple He said, "There is your mother". And from that moment the disciple took her to his home.
After this, since Jesus knew that everything was already completed, in a order that the Scripture might be fulfilled. He said, " I am thirsty".
