Coker Classic Series
The Coker Classic Series at Viking Racing is a hugh event for the 3 year olds. It’s a challenge for trainers at the circuit. The prize, except the purse, is an unraced 2 year old: Skogby Classic. To win this horse a trainer must win at least 3 of the 5 races in the Coker Classic Series, or, if noone manages to do that, the prize will go to the trainer with most points during the series*.
It’s no easy task to win 3 of these races. The races span from 9 to 16 furlongs and are ran both on the dirt and the turf: Starting off this event is Derby de Finish a 9 furlong dirt race and ending if is Derby de Viking, a 2 mile turf race. A horse that wins 3 or more races will forever be remembered as a great stayer, and winning one of these 5 races, well that’s not bad at all, that’s more than most horses manage. All winners will be remembered as classic winners.
The series is named after a family in Australia that has devoted a lot of time and effort into the sim world of racing, and helped the Viking Racing crew maintaining a lot of stats for residents and other visitors. Thank you the Cokers! The series is sponsored by Viking Racing through helpful visitors’ engagement in clicking banners at the site. Thank you for making this event possible!

In a situation where two resident trainers has earned the same amount of points, first tie-breaker is most wins, then most seconds, then most thirds, then most fourths, then most fifths, in case this will not settle the order the most points in leg V, then in leg IV, then in leg III, then in leg II and then in leg I will settle the order. If still they still can’t be separated there will be a draw of luck (the Swedish Joker number).
