Index: I. Introduction
I. Intoduction Money can buy everything... No! I mean, wood can buy everything... At the same time hordes of Goblins, led by the undefeated goblin warlord "Drobbla da Butcher", moving towards the Empire. The Empire is weakened by plague, and knows that it cannot defeat both the Elves and the Goblin hordes. So what can they do? Well, the Empire decides to join the Goblins and attack the Elves. After dozens of killed couriers the Empire gets its treaty. The Goblins will not attack any Empire troops as long as they are allowed to devestate and burn as many Elven woods they like. II. Rules and Setup The Wood Elf army is deployed on one side of a river, that crosses the middle of the table. Two or more bridges are placed over the river (for a faster game, let the troops pass through the river at half of their movement). At the other side of the river, Empire and Goblins deploy. I suggest that they deploy in one corner each. A wood must be placed in the Wood Elf deployment zone. Other terrain is put out as you wish, but I suggest some hills and mountains, and maybe an Empire stronghold in the Empire deployment zone. III. Troops involved The Goblin army 1000 points, including Drobbla da Butcher riding a Wolf Chariot. No special characters except Drobbla da Butcher. Use normal Goblin Warboss Characteristics for Drobbla. He's already got two magic items; The Hydra Axe and The Crown of Command, so he's only allowed one more. IV. Scenario objectives The Scenario objectives aren't really that complicated. The Goblin and Empire army are supposed to destroy the Elven army and burn all woods. The Elves are trying to defend their woods. That's it folks. Scenario written by Patrik Johansson, composed by Claes Aspman Copyright © Patrik Johansson 1996. |
