Educational Background

Experience

1990-1997. Ph.D. student working with modelling and optical characterisation of of semiconductor heterostructures. Have worked a lot with free-space optics together with lasers like Ti:sapphire, dye, argon-ion and semiconductor lasers and worked with measurements equipment like lock-in amplifiers, monochromators, optical multichannel analysators and photon counting. Programming knowledge Fortran,C++, pascal and LabView. Experience of bulding GPIB-controlled set-up. Spent about 30% of my post graduate studies teaching of students at the Royal Institute of Technology.

1997-1998  Research engineer at Ericsson Fiber Optic Research Center. Ericsson Components working with design and characterisation of MQW lasers and modulators.
1998-2000 Continued with similar but mor market oriented activities at the product line Opto at Ericsson Components AB. I have been a project manager for several projects and have also worked as a project manager for an joint international research projects.
2000- Builded up a new company (employee no 2) and was also activ in standard work for the 10 Gbit Ethernet standard (see IEEE P802.3ae 10Gb/s Ethernet Task Force )
