This text has nothing to do with sailing, but it was obviously a natural thing for Tom to dress his thoughts in the clothes of water and boats. He was a very skilled sailor, but also notorious in the guest harbours of the archipelago of Stockholm. If he ever (not often) anchored in a harbour, he never wanted to pay the fee. "I won´t pay no damned harbour-fee, you can´t own the water, you can´t own the air..."

Segelspår

Sätta segel
fråga spegel
bryta regel
Klättra stegel
(Det heter inte stegel, det heter stege!)

Våga fråga
sluta tänka
tända låga
öga blänka

Titta spegel
tappa segel
följa regel
ramla stegel
(Det heter inte stegel, det heter stege!)

Våga glömma
hoppa bada
Börja drömma
bränna lada

reva segel
krossa spegel
bränna tegel
resa stegel

Spår av segel
En ränna i tiden
sår i himlen
Vatten lämnar

liv att leva
segel att reva
sånger att samla
stegel att ramla!

Sailing-trace

Set sail
wait for snail
flee the trail
Seek a grail
(It´s not called grail, it´s called gray!)

Dare to ask
stop thinking
light a candle
eyes a-blinking

Ask the snail
drop the sail
be on trail
loose the grail
(It´s not called grail, it´s called gray!)

Jump swimming
dare forgetting
Start dreaming
burn your setting

take in sail
leave the snail
loose the trail
trust the grail

||:Trace of sail
A groove in time
wounds in heaven
Water leaves:||

life to live
sails to give
trails to stall
grails to fall!
