ENGLISH:
Installation
------------
This update consists of two files, HOCKEY.EXE and README.TXT (this file).  
Simply copy HOCKEY.EXE into the directory that you previously installed 
NHL '97 into (probably C:\NHL97DOS if you chose the default during 
installation).

Note that this update is for DOS gameplay only.  If you installed NHL '97
from Windows 95, please obtain the update NHLWIN.EXE available from the 
same source.


Configuration
-------------
As per your NHL '97 documentation, please ensure that EMM386 and SMARTDRV 
are not loaded while playing NHL '97.  If you insist on using SMARTDRV in
order to speed up disk accesses, it is required that you turn off 
write cacheing.


Compatibility
-------------
1) If you are part way into a season of NHL '97, simply install this
update as described above.  Your season data will remain intact and you
can continue play without any updates or modifications.

2) You cannot play a network or modem game between an original NHL '97
and an updated NHL '97.  If you attempt to do so, the computer with the
update will deny the connection, and the computer without the update
will simply hang.

Dieses Update besteht aus zwei Dateien, HOCKEY.EXE und README.TXT (diese
Datei).  Kopieren Sie einfach die Datei HOCKEY.EXE in das Verzeichnis, in
das Sie vorher NHL `97 installiert haben (wahrscheinlich C:\NHL97DOS, wenn
Sie die Voreinstellung während der Installation gewählt haben.).

Beachten Sie, daá dieses Update nur für das Spiel unter MS-DOS ist.  Wenn
Sie NHL `97 unter Windows 95 installiert haben, können Sie das Update
NHLWIN.EXE aus derselben Quelle erhalten.


Konfiguration
-------------
Wie schon in Ihrer NHL '97-Dokumentation angegeben, stellen Sie bitte
sicher, daá EMM386 und SMARTDRV nicht geladen sind, während Sie NHL `97
spielen.  Wenn Sie jedoch SMARTDRV unbedingt benutzen wollen, um die
Zugriffsgeschwindigkeit auf Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk zu erhöhen, ist es nötig,
daá sie das Write Cache ausschalten.



Kompatibilität
-------------
1) Wenn Sie sich bereits in einer Saison von NHL `97 befinden, dann
installieren Sie dieses Update einfach wie oben beschrieben.  Ihre Saison-
Daten bleiben erhalten und Sie können ohne Veränderungen weiterspielen.

2) Sie können kein Netzwerk- oder Modemspiel zwischen einer Original-
NHL `97- und einer Update-NHL `97-Version spielen.  Wenn Sie dies versuchen,
wird der Computer mit der Update-Version die Verbindung unterbrechen, und
der Computer mit der Original-Version wird abstürzen.

Installation

Den här uppdateringen består av två filer, HOCKEY.EXE och README.TXT(den
här filen).Kopiera helt enkelt HOCKEY .EXE till katalogen där du precis
har installerat NHL '97 (antagligen C:\NHL97DOS om du väljer
standardsökvägen när du installerar).
Tänk på att den här uppdateringen enbart är till för spel i DOS. Om du
installerar NHL '97 i Windows '95 kan du använda dig av den uppdaterade
NHLWIN.EXE som finns tillgånglig på samma ställe.


Konfiguration
-------------
För din NHL-dokumentation bör du kontrollera att EMM386 och SMARTDRV inte
laddar när du spelar NHL'97. Om du insisterar på att använda SMARTDRV för
att höja hastigheten  på din diskåtkomst bör du stänga av din "write
cache".

Kompabilitet
------------
1- Om du är halvvägs in i en NHL '97-säsong kan du lätt uppdatera genom
att göra som tidigare beskrivits. Ditt säsongspel finns kvar och du kan
fortsätta spela utan uppdatering eller modifiering.
2- Du kan inte spela nätverks- eller modemspel mellan en orginalversion
av NHL '97 och en uppdaterad version. Om du försöker dig på detta kommer
din dator att neka dig uppkoppling, och datorn utan den uppdaterade versionen
kommer att låsa sig.
