1999 season

The pre season testing shows that Sauber still is one second or so to slow in comparison to the 'top teams', to be up there on the podium. Let's hope the can catch up with them until Australia, I doubt It.
The Australian GP is not Alesi's 'lucky place'. Last year he's race ended at Lap 41 with a blown engine, and 1997 it was the famous 'fuel incident', in 1996 he's race ended in a crash on lap 9. In 1995 a crash at lap 6..... Finally in 1994 he finished forth.
Well not to much to hope for according to statistics, but I'm going to be awake to watch and cheer for him.. /Anders

This is the home of Jean Alesi and Pedro Diniz in 17, 16,15,16 sundays in 1999.
I will for sure, watch Jean make explosive starts and hopefully one or two great finishes to.
