Samson

With its brawny build, Samson embodies the might of monster truck racing. Samson's specialty is strong-holding its opponents into submission. Those sinewy arms are a fearsome trademark in this sport of strength and skill.Driver/owner Dan Patrick is still out there making his mark with Samson, just as he's been doing since 1994. In that first year, at the Summer Nationals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Samson won its first Penda Point Series event beating out the likes of Snake Bite and BIGFOOT (twice!). The victory over the BIGFOOT trucks was particularly sweet for Dan, who started his monster truck career building race trucks for BIGFOOT 4X4, Inc., before heading out on his own to make his Samson dream a reality.Dan comments that monster truck racing is a bit different now than it was when he first became involved. He says, "The trucks are considerably faster and more advanced through technology." He adds that the sport will continue to evolve. However, his favorite thing about monster truck racing is still entertaining the fans. And, the fans love Samson. Dan says that kids love monster truck racing so much because of the size of the trucks and their names. He encourages those interested in becoming involved in the sport, but informs them that it is like anything else, "You have to devote a lot of time, energy and concentration to succeed."If players have a taste for victory, Dan maintains they must choose Samson--the strong arm of monster truck racing--as their truck in Monster Truck Madness 2. But, he warns them not to forget that crashing is part of the game!
