Baxter, he calls himself that from the time he became a vampire but his real name is Bamse Axegaard. He was born 1804 in Göteborg but emigrated to America at age 7. The family was poor and the move didn´t become the lift they hoped for. Instead he grew up with his family on the backstreets in several cities they travelled between as nomads. They were not Gypsies but became very good friends with a Gypsie Cumpania they often travelled with. They were from the Phurie Dae family.

1923 became a fresh start for him because he was embraced into the Gangrel family after a Gangrel by the name Henry Lee, who was also a friend of the Gypsie cumpania, had noticed his skills in survival and decided to embrace him.

Henry has treated him well and let him do his own choices for the most. He has managed to keep contact with the gypsie family through the years and generations by mutual help from time to time. Right now an old woman named Zorga are the oldest member and head of the cumpania. Baxter travelled to Europe a couple of years during WW1 and the years following it whreafter he returned to America, LA fto be exact. After some incidents with a Ventrue, who later was killed by anarchs he moved to the eastcoast where he stayed in the area round NY(he was anarch then) for a number of years. 1940 he left for Chicago with his girlfriend Angela, also she of clan Gangrel. She had her home base around Chicago at that time. She moved to StLois in the early -50s and Baxter followed but didn´t find peace in the city, part because of Angelas great beuty who attracted lots of photographers wich Baxter dislikes because he don´t want to be caught on picture and recognised in papers. They parted after a while as friends and Baxter moved to the Rocky mountains where he has operated from that time. Mainly around Vail where he 1992 met a girl named Daphnae Ojin, an adventurous girl from Montreal Canada. She moved to Vail only 15 years old at first as a temporal move as she worked as a ski-guide but after meeting Baxter she decided to stay longer. Baxter owned a skishop that summertime sold and rented out mountainering equipment instead of skiis where she worked over the summer to become part time ski-guide again as the winter came. During a trip in an off pist area her group was close to be killed when they almost went straight into a dealing between werewolves. Of course she don´t remember anything vital of the incident, she believes she saw a fight among the maffia or something. But Baxter understood when he heard her explanation and went up to investigate the area and saw the tracks and destroyed them. The following summer she and Baxter spent a lot of time together since she had fallen in love with him after he took care of her after the for her traumatic incident in the mountains. They went on nightly wanders in the mountains where she was to explore parts of the mountain she´d never have found herself.

From time to time he makes small errands for Henry and tries to visit clangatherings when they occurs, since a Gangrel clanmeeting never is dull. He has had few meetings with Werewolves, some friendly other hostile but has yet to establish lasting good relations with them.1995 he opened another businiss, survival coarses lasting a couple of weeks. He don´t handle any of the businisses himself but have mortal employees for that. Denver is the closest big city he used to visit on regular basis since it isn´t very far from Vail. He is a good friend of the Prince there and a very good friend of the Gangrel Primogen and has helped them with various tasks, mainly surveillance missions, for example he and some other gangrels discovered a Sabbat invasion attempt when they stumbled upon a party of vampires, suspected them to be a sabbat pack and acted as if beeing that too. They told them of their plans and attempted to recruit them to the mission. They of course played along and when they knew enough they told everything to the Prince and the sabbat attack failed miserably.
1996 Daphnae begun interesting herself in the supernatural area reading lots of occult litterature and stuff. It´s possible she is aware of Baxter beein a vampire or at least some kind of supernatural beeing. He isn´t to worried about that being a dangerous thing for him but has advised her to be careful with hom she asks and tells about her beliefs in the supernatural.

1997 he was asked to come to Boston to meet Henry for helping him with a task he owed a Brujah named Jürgen. Baxter agreed and went to N.O. to meet him and find out more. It was about finding Jürgens missing girlfriend, a Gangrel named Sarah. But they wre caught in a timeloop wich eventually turned out to be a dreamsequence from Jürgens mortal past, of wich he had no memory. He had been a cruel Nazi officer and that turned out to be a traumatic experience for him since he was nothing like that now. At the night of Jürgens embrace the timeloop was broken and they were sent back to today again. Then came timeloop nuber 2, this time they was time for timeloop number two in wich Prince Marcel wass assasinated and a chrystal skull was stolen at a party he was hosting at his manor. They followed a trace that the killer was an Assamite hired by the Tremere Prince of Caracas named Marcellus who it was rumored about was collecting the skulls to bring the whole collection of 13 skulls together in a ritual. It was said this wasn´t good and the group went there to try and stop it. On their way there they made an unwanted stop at Haiti where they maged to anger, fight and beat a group of Setites during the less than 24 hours they were there. In Caracas they then was tricked to believe there were two Princes fighting for the power. They introduced themselved to both of them and one was very hostile the other friendly. Of course they wanted the Prince to be friendly so they chose his side, only he was not a Prince but a Setite who took his revenge having heard what happened in Haiti. Marcellus didn´t find it in his good to see past the trickery so he was still angered. And they later found out why, he had been in a fight and lost and also lost his chrystal skulls to a True Brujah named Octavianus. At the same time a Giovanni stole Victorias body, Victoria a Ravnos who with a magical dagger actually manged to force Baxter to his knees when she was dominated by a Setite, and gave her a dogs body instead. Octavianus contacted her and said the group had to gather the remaining 6 skulls for the curse to be broken. The rest of the group thought this was only a way to get her to do his work and that he propably could lift the curse anyways but she insisted and the following 6 years they spent gathering the remaining skulls with lots of incidents with the skulls owners. When the skulls were gathered andthe ritual performed the group apart from vic wasn´t present and she had no memories of what happened afterwards but she had got her old body back. Back in N.O. they found the timeloop broken when they were at the party at Marcels and he never got assasinated.

Half a year later they went on a trip to Europe travelling with Oscar Wildes yacht October and dicovered the use of an Assamite silence power(Quitus 1) several times wich made them somewhat paranoid since it was used in their immediate presence. On that trip Baxter had a dream manifestation by a redheaded Celtic warrior who wanted help and that Baxter had to find him. Baxter woke up and found a drop of dried blood on the floor wich he scraped up and put in a jar. As he didn´t know who the warrior was he told the other and a Ventrue could inform him that it had been Mithras, an ancient Ventrue of the fourth generation. Baxter performed a ritual he had learned from a Garou he had rescued and as the Garou believed him to be Garou as well he had taught him the rite of the questing stone. Baxter used this ritual to localise Mithras using the blood as aid. They found Mithras and managed to find him just before a group of Assamites found the hiding place as well. They managed to rescue him starting an adventerous escape through Britain ending in London where they turned over Mithras body to the Ventrue Justicar. Later they heard he had handed over the responibility for Mithras safety to Lady Anne. That was when two Ventrues, an eleventh generation Neonate and a 5th generation elder claiming to bew Mithras childer told them that the Justicar and Lady Anne planned on diablerie upon Mithras and that they were to try rescue him and wanted the groups assistance since they had managed to find him once before. Said and done and when they found Mithras the Neonate Ventrue showed up to be an Assamite who failed his surprice attack and used phosphor grenades to cover his escape route. All survived though heavily injured and that is when the elder also turned out to be someone else, he was a Tremere and summoned a fire elemental. Victoria escaped in Rötchreck, Jürgen was elsewhere at that time, but Baxter and another Neonate Ventrue dared to stay and fight the Tremere. After a hard fight (and ST interference to save the Tremere from Baxters claws that almost killed him) the Tremere managed to Dominate Baxter to go after the fleeing Assamite instead of killing him. The Tremere thus managed to escape having shaken hands with the devil and said goodbye. The Ventrue had meanwhile summoned Jürgen who came and helped them scaring the Asssamite away and rescue Mithras again. This time the Justicar realised that it wasn´t just luck that had made Baxter find Mithras and the best way to keep him safe in the future would be to have Baxter working for him personally, especially since he´d shown how capable he was at handling both his own and others safety in the worst situations and at the same time showed incredible loyalty. He thus asked Baxter to be one of his Archons wich Baxter accepted.
