The followe up for "Keys to Ascenison I". Disc I is filled with old
classics once again, just like on the previous release. On this album
there are a lot more new studio recordings, which is the whole of Disc
II. To comments these I say like this. There are a lot of great
soundings and parts of the songs. And sometimes it just feels boring.
But I guess that depends on if you love Yes or not. Persoanally I don't
love them, but they can sometimes bring out the best of music. They did
a greater succes with that on "Keys... I".
One intersting detail is that Vangelis, the syntheziser afficianado, has
been ivolved in writing the song Children of the Light. I don't know if
this a thing that's come from the times when Jon Anderson worked with
Vangelis, or if he's just helped them out. One things for sure though.
It's always great to hear real musicians in a common act, together.
After all, Yes is only the Fathers of Progressive music...
