LANDS OF FLAMES
Written by Magnus Florin

Ok, this CD is defenitly for those who's into the kind of vocals that old Helloween and Angra produce. Very high and soaring falsetto vocals. It quite easy to understand that this band is infuenced by the first mentioned, Helloween and that sort of bands.

The introducing track "Eagle" is a 10 minute long thing with a lot of different parts. My favourites on the album are "Temple of Dreams", "Illusions" and "Morning Rain". The music in general has parts that relaly don't belong to this type of music sometimes. There's spanish music, rock n' roll, bach-harmony, flutes and all kinds of stuff. Kind of different but alos interesting. Without all this I don't think the whole thing would be the same. Teh reason why i found some interest.

As I said the vocalist is of a certain style, which not is not what I like, but if one do then this album might be the right choice. Sea of Dreams...
