CLUTCHING AT STRAWS
Written by Magnus Florin

The last studio album from Marillion with Fish on vocals. I don't know really how I feel for the album. When I bought it I thought that it was the absolute best Marillion album ever, but then I changed. The first thing on it is a trilogy song "Hotel Hobbies", "Warm Wet Circles" and "That Time of the Night". All these are really good, and they all have this spacey sound to them. Actually all tracks on the album are really good such as "White Russian", "Incommunicado" (the classic), "Sugar Mice" and "The Last Straw". Really one of the best albums, but maybe a little soft for some. It's got the energy needed, and it's not as soft as the Hogarth era, but....... However, I do like this album!
