Fonya is a one-man-project in the name of Chris Fournier. It's keyboards to
the maximum to put it right. Of course the sounds of Genesis, YES, Marillion
and stuff like that are there, but the general feel of this album is more
dedicated to "drifting into space". I guess Jon Anderson would have liked
it. First of all, it's instrumental and that is usually really hard to
get attracted to (if you ask me), but this album could easily be played a
lot of times by me. And while we're at it speaking of YES, Chris has chosen
to do a version of his own of YES' old "The Gates of Delerium", selected
parts of it. Should be seen as an interesting piece for many, and not least
YES fans. A fun little detail is that the album is recorded with the help of
an Amiga 2000. Don't see that too often nowadays.
