Fair Warning may not be the band you count as progressive, but I
think they've got the same attitude as other progressive bands. They're
good musicians and with great song writing talents in both Engelke and
Ritgen. Most of the songs on "Go!" comes from Ritgen,
but the hit song "Angels of Heaven" is Engelkes' creation.
"Angels of Heaven" is a common favourite among the listeners, and so is
"Save Me". Other good tunes would be "All On Your Own", "With Out You",
"Rivers Of Love", "Somewhere" and "Eyes of a Stranger". All tracks on
the album are really good though, but a band like Fair
Warning always has tendencies of becoming a little too much of a
"Baby-Baby-I-Love-you-Girl" band. You know what I'm talking about.
If you like good songs, backed up with a great vocalist, and always with
good chouruses', then Fair Warning will have something to offer you with
every album. A good start would be "Go!"...
