The first release from Dream Theater if you don't count the early days of Majesty. Here with Charlie Dominici on vocals, which I really don't see
as a negative thing since he has a very comfortable voice. This the album that came before the mighty "Images & Words", but that don't show a bit.
Dream Theater sounds just like the bands of today that are trying to impersonate them. But really good though.
The introducing track is well known to almost anyone, and so are "The Ytse Jam" and "The Killing Hand". Apart from these tracks I see two
others that are really good, "Status Seeker" and "Afterlife". Well, all tracks on this album are winners but I'm pointing the really best ones.
Defenitely an album worth having, especially if you're a Dream Theater fan.
