WOLVES OF THE GODS
Written by Christian Axén

After six releases, among them the renowned 96-release "Witchwood", Bjorn Lynne releases his seventh album "Wolves of the Gods" on Cyclops Records. The new CD is based on a novel, just as his 98-release "Wizards of the Wind". The famous fantasy writer Allen Cole, who also wrote exclusive little stories for each of the tracks on Wolves of the Gods, wrote the novel. The short tales are to find in the booklet to give the listener more then just the music, to tell the story behind each song. The moods Lynne creates with his music is reinforced with Cole's stories, this is a great addition to the music. Bjorn Lynne played all the instruments himself except for lead guitar on four of the eleven tracks, which was done by guest guitarist/musician Rory McLeish. Lynne captures that lost in space, movie-like feel, but that doesn't make the music boring, on the contrary, the music is very catchy and takes you on a journey of Lynne's dream world. Many progressive rock fans as well as electronic based music fans will clearly appreciate "Wolves of the Gods".
