Progressive rock with a violin has always been a good thing, if you ask me.
Ever since I heard Kansas for the first time I've seen the instrument as
something very unique and special in this genre. Ankh is not much different
that Kansas really. The biggest difference may be the atmosphere and
attitude that the listener get by hearing them. The music is pretty much
depressive, but in a good way of course. The album is filled with a lot of
tracks and parts and it's really all just four songs on it. I also found the
vocalist to be one of the emotional kinds. Really feels what he sings. But
with a full-length playtime though. A special band from Poland, check it out!
