Driving your own dog-team through the snow-covered wilderness of Scandinavia in the northern winter will be an experience you will never forget. You will be equipped with 6-8 Alaskan or Siberian Huskies, a sturdy sledge and the necessary instructions ... and there you go! Now you are on your way to cross the mountains in the winter, which becomes an experience of a lifetime. Your mind is getting free from all thoughts, while your sledge evenly and without almost any sound is gliding over the untouched snow. Only the dogs' panting and the slight crunch of the runners break through the breathtaking silence of the lonely and delightful winter landscape. During your multi-day trip through forests thick with snow, across frozen lakes and the wide plateau without any trees, you are accompanied by a very experienced guide. Day by day we cover a distance of about 40-70 kilometres and stay the nights in typical Swedish mountain-cabins, a very comfortable mountain-inn as well as in heated tents. Every day you will be part of new adventures and gather experiences you will never have in everyday life - the dogs' power and their friendliness is just impressive. Here, in the region of the Femund-Rogen, it is really not unusual to encounter moose and reindeer as well as bears and one of the last herds of musk-bullocks. |

Our winter program
Winter-program (Middle of November until beginning of May) 70 well-trained Huskies are waiting for you to start for a trip into the wilderness of winter. You have the possibility to choose between different programs - here you'll find your real personal winter adventure!v Dogsled-trips (Mushing) With your own dog-team on the way to the Swedish-Norwegian Mountains. Each tourist drives his own sled, which is pulled by six to eight dogs, through lonely forests, over frozen lakes and the impressive mountain plateau. The offer include the possibility to arrange one to six day-trips, depending on your wishes and the season; the six day-trip includes a distance of 300 kilometres. We sleep in mountain-cabins, furnished in a rustic style, a comfortable mountain inn and in a real tepee. The max. group size is 9 persons. Of course you will be thoroughly instructed before each trip! Musher - training No matter you are beginner or an experienced Musher - here you have the opportunity to experience how 70 Huskies will be prepared and trained for the winter season. You will learn all about feeding the dogs, about their care, raising and training as well as the technique of driving a dogsled. Special program No matter you want to have an introductory course or an intensive course in mushing, a family trip into the wilderness of winter or group arrangements for your company - we offer you all facets of the Scandinavian winter, arranged in regard to your individual requests.
