Mirella Freni Fan Site is dedicated to Mirella Freni, the famous Italian soprano. Since I did not find any fan site about her on the Internet when I started using it in 1994, I decided to write one myself. It has been present since the autumn of 1995, on different locations. This location has been up since July 2006. The reason for changing locations is that I have moved a lot, which have lead to change of ISP:s. Thus I have not been able to keep the web site's URL constant. Note that the discography is big, about 500 KBytes, this is because I have pictures of the sleeves of most of the recordings. Thus it will take some time to load.
Mirella Freni Fan Site had more than 36 000 visitors between November 2001 and July 2009.
Mirella Freni Fan Site is run on a non profit making basis, and does not seek to obtain any benefit at the expense of copyright holders. If the site performs its intended duty, sales of copyrighted materials should increase to the general benefit of all such people. Ever since I got my first recording with Mirella (which was "Tosca"), I have loved her voice. You can always recognize Mirella when she is singing, by her vibrant tone and clear pronunciation. She has a lovely voice, is a pleasant person and a good actress. She is one of the foremost lyrical singers in the world, a highly musical and attractive artist. And she is really cute too!
