Note: Ivan Osipovich Repa (John Josefovich Repa) was an early supporter of Father Alexis Toth and one of founders of the Holy Resurrection church in Wilkes-Barre. He was also the father-in-law of Father Krashkevich. John Repa was of great help to the immigrant community in Wilkes-Barre. He took it upon himself to provide preparatory instruction to those wanting to become American citizens and he arranged bus trips to the naturalization offices in Scranton. As is clear from his advertisement above, his profession was that of insurance and real estate agent.
