Ratnashri Meditation Center is a nonprofit organization which was established 1997 by Venerable Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche. The purpose of the Center is to promote Buddhas' precious teachings (the Dharma) by providing opportunity for Dharma practitioners to study and practice, and progress on the Dharma path according to the Drikung Kagyu Lineage of the Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism. Our great lineage masters such as Varjadhara, Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa and Lord Jigten Sumgon showed us the Path to Enlightenment. This is the path to attain the pure clarity of mind and peaceful, compassionate actions.

Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche visited the Center in 1997, 1999 and 2001 to give public talks and programs for Dharma practitioners. Many of us were deeply moved and inspired by his heartfelt teachings. The Center organized Khenchen’s European tour 1999 and 2001. The Center has hosted visits by H.H. Chetsang Rinpoche, H.E. Druwang Rinpoche, Venerable Lama Jampa Rigzin and Venerable Doctor Lobsang Wangyal. We are very grateful to their precious Dharma teachings.

Center is primarily open on Sundays for group meditation and Dharma study. Our newsletter, Ratnashri Newsletter is published four times a year to inspire and arouse enthusiasm in our Dharma study, practices and activities.

Ratnashri Newsletter is published four times a year which contains precious Dharma teachings, vajra songs, upcoming events and practice schedule.  All members receive a one year subscription of the newsletter automatically.  Please fill in the application form under "membership application" below.

It is a good opportunity to enhance our study and practice of all the teachings that Venerable Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche gave us last year. Let us prepare ourselves, study and practice the precious Dharma together! This is an excellent way to show our respect to Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche and an excellent way to welcome His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche.

We will begin the study group of The Jewel Ornament of Liberation starting October, 2002 . More information will be on the next issue of Ratnashri Newsletter.
