Spitfire 14, placed 3rd in the Tinnerman Trophy at the 1949 National Air Races in Cleveland. This is the Fujimi kit, with kitchen foil on the fuselage, a combination of metallizer, SNJ and foil on the wings. The canopy is heat-formed by me. I wasn't too impressed by the Fujimi kit.

Spitfire wheels. I had to convert these 3-spoke wheels from the 4-spokes in the Fujimi kit. I did the diamond tyre pattern by sawing grooves with a photo-etched razor-saw.
