Kansas - Into the New New Wind

A radio bootleg from the tour supporting Freaks of Nature, recorded live in Cincinnati, Ohio 24th of August 1995. This is of course with the Steve Walsh htat we know with the "new" voice. He don't sound like he did in the 70's, that'sa fact. But I wouldn't say that he's much worse just because of that. He sill brings me the emotion hat I value in Kansas, in songs like "Portrait", "Song For America", "Hope Once Again", "The Wall", "Dust in the Wind", well all of them actually..... This boot is one hell of a CD, and not only that. With the thought in mind that it's a bootleg, it hold a great sound picture and production. It has a sound similar to the old Two For the Show album.

The new songs that they do here, from Freaks album are "Hope Once Again" and "Desperate Times", but they've also chosen to do the old Elefante-era song "Fight Fire With Fire". All these songs cound great too, but with some backup lead vocals from Billy Greer.

Great album in general and is an entertainment in itself. I'mhappy I found it and will keep on lookin for Kansas live....
