Now I know after a few listenings on the last Conception CD released before they had to split up the band, that it was the wrong descision to make. I guess it was the record company who pushed them to makes htat decision, since hty stopped the priority of the band. This fourth album from the Norwegian band is not at all bad in any way. At first I thought it was a bit different bu now I look upon it in the same way as on the other previous albums. It actually sounds just like "In Your Mutlitude" and "Parallell Minds", it's just that the cover is not what you expect if you're a fan of the band... It's a green and with a little piece of the old Parallell Minds head on it. Not at all very nice cover, but the music is still the best....
Introducing track "Gethsemane" is a classic Conception track already, I think. It's got what a songs from the band sohuld contain. Great riffs from Tore, superb vocals from Roy and rhythm figures from the band that really are among the best in the world.
Other great tracks would be....hmm....all, I guess. This is not a bad album as I said and it souhd attract all fans of this kind of metal. Two ballads udner names "Cry" and "Hold On" should also get right inot the heart of every music lover.....
I tell you... The world has lost something great!
1. Gethsemane
2. Angel (Come Walk With Me)
3. A Virtual Lovestory
4. Flow
5. Cry
6. Reach Out
7. Tell Me When I'm Gone
8. Hold On
9. Cardinal Sin
10. Would It Be the Same
