Accept live has always been something that's been gold worth to me. This double live album from the Metal Heart tour in Japan -85 is one of the best live albums there is, without doubt. Mighty guitars from Wolf Hoffmann, shrieky vocals from Udo Dirkscneider and heavy pounding from the rhythm section. Album introduced by the track "Metal Heart" is just so heavy that all japanese fans should have gone down in glory. And then with the solo scetion featuring Wolf with his "Für Elise" melodies. Too good....
Noo need to slow down on the temp, so second track is "Breaker". if the audience ain't standing after the first track they will for sure be jumping now, while this rocker brings the power and energy that Accept is known for. In this song and many others, the band suports UDo with backing vocals too, not in the same way as on the studio albums. On this live there's much more to say. It's Peter with his harmony vocals, and the rest of the band with heavy metal backing vocals. It's so heavy, so cool and so great!
Other songs on both albums that relly are much, much better on this album that studio versions would be "Screaming For a Love Bite", "Living For Tonite", "Princess of the Dawn", "Son of a Bitch", "London Leatherboys", "Love Child", "Flash Rockin Man", "Dogs On Leads" (with those heavy backing vocals), "Fast as a Shark" and of course "Balls to the Wall". The last mentioned is above ten minutes playtime, with some mighty crowd singin parts in the middle. Such a live feel to this album..... Check it out!
