This site is about me and about Tinnitus.
I got my Tinnitus from my work with mentally retarded children.
They where screeming in my ears day in and day out for about 2 years.

Who am i?
I'm a 31 y/o Swedish "boy" :-) from Skellefteå.
I have lived all my life up here in the "cold north" :-) and enjoying life.

Enjoying life yes! But not my Tinnitus.

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is a hearing disorder that can be described as "ringing" ears or the
perception of other sounds in the absence of any externally generated noise.
Tinnitus has many causes, with overexposure to loud sounds being the most
common, but also due to some potentially serious underlying medical conditions.
Many treatments are available, ranging from simple nutritional approaches to
dangerous prescription drugs.

Unfortunately many cases of tinnitus are incurable.
There are a number of tinnitus organizations you can join that
will use your dues to fund research on possible cures. The largest tinnitus
organization in the United States is the American Tinnitus Association (details
in FAQ below).
