My favourite fantasy character is the Paladin, serve the Good but it doesnt mean that all his action are good. They are devoted to their cause and one of their true driveforce is their faith. They may seem fanatic in their faith but they cant be blamed for that, that is one of their reason.........

How they are

They carry their faith deep within and use it as a weapon, but their aren't fanatics,

they visit holyplaces and makes sacrafices for their gods, but their aren't priests,

they may go to sick and weak people and cure them, but their aren't clerks,

they use magic as a weapon and protect others with magic, but their aren't magicans,

they arm themself for great battles and the glory within, but their aren't warriors,

they sneak in the shadows, steal things of great power, but their aren't thiefs,

they lure in some shadow ready to strike a victim, but their aren't assasains,

their care for the people and follow the Codex, but their aren't knights.

In the light they stand and from the light they may fall,

in the gods home they visit and in the deamons home they may fight,

in crusades they fight and against crusaders they may fight,

in battles they seek honor and in quests they may seek gold,

for the people they fight and for kings they may die,

man or woman they are and beast or beauty they may become,

but it is always from the light they come but can serve the dark.

So take notice simple fool, that in the end you stand alone.

Taken from the Paladin script.
