Troubleshooting: If you have trouble installing the program you should download the visual basic 6.0 runtime-libraries. You can find the link on the download page. When I click the map transfer button, the program quits   displaying no message at all, whats wrong? When the host and/or any of the clients tries to draw anything   all clients and/or the server quits without displaying   any error message whatsoever, why? The program won't start at all. When I click the icon it just loads   for a sec and then nothing happens, am i doing anything wrong? These errors all seem to be related. We are looking into this. All we know is that this doesn't happen on machines with visual basic installed so we can only conclude that it has to be a missing or wrong version file. Q: I have installed the support files after shutting down    all running programs and I have installed the VB runtimes    but I still can't run SaTstrat. Is there anything else I    can try? A: You might have a hidden system process using the files in    need of updating thus preventing the support files installer    from overwriting them with newer versions. There are two    things to try:    1) Start computer in failsafe mode and reinstall support files    2) If you have knowledge of dos, install the support files in       a temp dir. Get in dos mode (not win prompt) and copy the       files from your temp dir to your windows/system dir. make       sure you backup the old files just in case... FAQ: Q: I can't see the whole map, where's the scrollbars? A: Use the move tool (hand icon) in the toolbar. Q: What port does it use? A: We have applied for our own port number but temporarily we are using 46319.    In the future you'll be able to enter a port number manually. Q: Can you connect through a proxy? A: Sorry, no. Not at this point but perhaps in future versions. Q: Can you host from behind a proxy? A: If you can set the proxy to route incoming connection    requests on port 46319 to your computer, yes. Q: Can you host from behind a firewall? A: Yes, but you have to open port 46319 for incoming    connection requests. Q: I'm confused, which files do I need to download? A: First of all you need to download the main program.    Then you need a mappack.    Last, you *might* need to download the support files.     Most computers already have theese, but if you have trouble     starting or while running SaTstrat you should download     these, or you could download them just to be sure. Q: Why is v1.5 so much smaller than v1.4? A: Version 1.4 includes main program, support files and a mappack    all in one big file. Version 1.5 has been split into 3 different    file packages with separate installation programs.
