Nursen

Hello!

My name is Nursen and I am a young lady at the age of 27. At the moment I live in Gothenburg and I work in Delfoi, a company that works towards industrial 3D-simulations. Their business idea is to provide the customers with well tested product solutions in the "Virtual Factory" concept.

Before I moved to Gothenburg, I was studying in the college of Skövde. I studied the Exportengineer program with focus on automatization technology, and it was on my last year of studies that my interest on simulation technology grew strong.

I am very interested in Armenian issues. I always read everything I can about Armenia and anything that involves Armenia in newspapers and books. I am more than happy to participate in discussions, and debates, and I have also managed to get some articles published in Vestmanlands Läns Tidning. I am always happy to talk about my history, culture, and tradition, and my friends are often impressed by my knowledge. I also enjoy hearing stories about the old times before my parents and grandparents came to Sweden. I like to hear stories about my childhood, and all the crazy things I did. The thought of visiting the places I've heard so much about have crossed my mind several times. Maybe I could even write a book about all these valuable stories.

Well, that's who I am. There's a lot of things one could do, and a lot of things I am thinking of doing. Now when I finished studying I hope to fulfill some of the dreams I've had for many years.

Summer of 2000, me and my fiance David went to Armenia to get married. It was an interesting wedding, because David is of Swedish descent. My family and Davids family were all at the wedding, and many friends and close ones in Armenia joined us at our party. It was a day of joy, and I am happy we decided to get married there.

Our son Rouben was born 19th of March 2002, and our lives changed dramatcially. There is an exciting future ahead of us.

When I think about the future, I imagine a big house in a suburb or by the ocean. By that time I would have worked for several years already, and I would have a husband with children, and hopefully I could spend some more time to my hobbies. I might even have my own company, or I could be a famous photographer or writer. Who knows…

In 1995, I wrote an article about the Armenian genocide. The article was published in VLT 24th April 1995. You can read about it here.
