35 minutes by boat from Athens port Piraeus lies Aegina, the island of the famouse
Greek pistachios.

We offer you to rent a appartment in our house which is situated in the village Vrohia
on the southwest coast of Aegina.

The house is situated 100 m from the sea on a slope with olive and pistachio trees with
a magnificent view of the Saronic Gulf.

The house is a two-storey winter stone house with blue windows and doors.
The floors are completely separate from each other and for rent separately.

The upper floor
Were finished in the summer of 2001.
Space is 58 sq meters and consists of 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds, a living room with
fireplace and sofa bed with room for 2 people, kitchen and 2 shower rooms with toilets.
Complete machinery with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer.
Outside is a terrace partly covered and protected by an awning.

During floor
Were finished in the winter of 2001/2002.
Space is 62 sq meters and consists of 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds, a living room with
sofa bed with room for 2 people, kitchen and 2 shower rooms with toilets.
Complete machinery with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and
washer.
Outside is a large patio protected by an awning.

Other
Both floors have air conditioning and water thermostatically controlled central heating.

The entire roof is a sun terrace which you reach via a spiral staircase.
The terrace is available for both floors. The entire floor on the roof is tiled (since autumn 2003).
There are plastic tables with chairs under a protective Pergola. 4 sun loungers and a outside shower.

Cleaning/washing
Our goal is that the apartments will hold a very high standard both in terms of  
equipment and cleaning. We want guests to be greeted with a fresh and tidy
apartment with clean sheets and bathroom / kitchen towels in place upon arrival.
To ensure cleanliness, we have contracted a local maid who is doing final cleaning of the floor.
The cost of final cleaning is included in rental price.

Electricity consumption
Consumption of electricity depends largely on how much air conditioning is used.
The reading of electricity meters in the house are made by you on the day of arrival and
departure and information sent to me via email, SMS or phone when you return home.
The price is 3 sek per kwh.

Oil Consumption
If you rent an apartment during winter time and want heating you will be charged
150sek a week in oil cost. Heating is ordered from us in Sweden by mail or phone.

Payment of electricity/oil
Electricity costs are charged in arrears when I receive the reading after homecoming.
Any oil cost are also charged in arrears after homecoming.

Bathe, taverns, nightlife
From the house is 100 meters to the water with bath at a bridge, a tavern and bus stop.
To a lovely sandy beach is 300 meters and at the same distance is a relatively
well-stocked supermarket and a bakery with fresh breakfast bread.

Vrohia is a quiet "non-touristic" Greek village.
At 5-10 minutes walking distance are a number of genuine Greek tavernas offering
food and drink at a low cost.

If you want a bit more crowds take a bus or taxi about 4 km to Perdika, a fishing
village with many taverns and a fantastic view.

If you want a wider choice of cafes, restaurants, shopping and nightlife takes the bus
or taxi 3 km in the other direction to Aegina town.

For those who want to be more variable on the island, we recommend  rental of a
car or scooter.
These can be rented in Aegina opposite to where the Flying Dolphins add.
