My stereo is a Pioneer VSX-906 stereo reciever with built in Dolby digital decoder. The reciever works great with my Pioneer DV-505 dvd player (check out my page about dvd for more info about the movieformat for the future). Along with this I have a pioneer PD-S504 cd player for enjoying music with. To achive great sound I have a JBL SC305 center speaker, four JAMO CORNET 145 speakers used for surround and front speakers and of course, the most important, I have a JAMO 505E 12" active Subwoofer for that extra pressure for low tones like explosions and stuff. I LOVE MY STEREO!
