Original Philadelphia Cheesecake

Cheesecake filling

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Crust

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tsp. sugar
  • 1/3 cup (5 tbsp) butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350F°

Melt the butter, then add the sugar & crumbs. Press the mixture into a pie plate.

In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, & vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time, then spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pie plate.

Cook 30-40 min. but don’t let the pie brown. Serve with fresh strawberries or cherries.
