Ulrika Linde - keyboards / vocals

Ulrika was born in Tingsryd in 1974 and she is the keyboard player in Soulflyer. She began her musical career playing the recorder and the transverse flute at an early age. When she was 12 years old she started to take piano lessons. One thing led to another and when she was 14 years old she formed her first rock band together with some classmates, in which she played the keyboards. In the following years she played with various local cover bands, and it was in one of these bands that she got to know the guitarist, Jesper Wihlborg. He thought that she should come and jam with a couple of other guys that he was playing with on the side. Ulrika got hooked up with the band and eventually she became a permanent member of Soulflyer.

Since Ulrika has a very broad taste in music - she listens to jazz, rock, blues and classical music - she tries to take the best plums and lets her be inspired by different musical genres. Her major musical influences are Jon Lord, Ken Hensley, Tom Coster, Kenny Kirkland and JS Bach.

On the album Ulrika plays on a Korg N5 and on a Roland U-110, but she is presently using a Hammond XB-1, which is connected to a piano module, a Yamaha P50-m.
