Next public gig: Nov 25 20:00 - Teater Tribunalen, Hornsgatan 92, Stockholm
A Bulgarian-Scandinavian band playing Bulgarian
folk music with Indian influences and is situated in Stockholm, Sweden. The
unusual combination of the instruments we play creates our unique sound. Our
amazement with the odd meters drives us to experiment with them until we find
the ultimate groove. "Lele lele - kak sme go oplele" is
Bulgarian for "Uh-oh - how we have messed it up!" an expression that
we feel describes our music..... but don't take our word for it, go ahead and
listen to the tracks instead!

has said this about Lele Lele:
"...a fantastic little band..."
"The music, that is grounded in the bulgarian folk tradition, is
instrumental insofar that it is wordless; the singing consists of various vocal
sounds that accents the unusual melodies that the solo instruments weave like
silver threads around the bands song structures."
"The tunes ... are full of exotic smelling arrangements and neckbreaking
grooves, but with a dose of unmistakeble sense of pop thrown in the mix. Ethnic
music for the 21st century, anyone...?

said this about Lele Lele:
"Its fusion-eccentricity puts
me vaguely in mind of 3 Mustaphas 3, but I'm really just groping for reference
points for this strange and joyful noise... go and listen."
