Results set to 0-3 against them. 1928: TKS Torun withdrew during second half of the season. Last 11 games were set to 0-3 against them. 1937: Dab Katowice were disqualified and had all matches set to 0-3 against them because of some kind of cheating the previous season. 1939: The season was not played through because of the german/russian invasion. Subsequently the championship was decided not be official and is therefore not counted in the table. 1940-45: No championship because of WW2. 1946: The championship was played in cupformat between the 18 regional winners. As I haven't found tables for those 18 leagues the season isn't counted here. 1962: The 2nd championship game between Gornik Zabrze & Polonia Bytom either ended 2-1 or 2-2. The first result is the one used in the tables above. 1986/87: Three games were left unplayed. Lech Poznan, Zaglebie Lubin, Olimpia Poznan, Polonia Bytom, Ruch Chorzow and Stal Mielec played only 29 games each. 1992/93: Legia Warszawa, LKS Lodz, Wisla Krakow & Olimpia Poznan each had one game stricken becuase of bribery allegations. 1993/94: Legia Warszawa, LKS Lodz & Wisla Krakow each had three points deducted because of the bribery incidents last season. 1996/97: Slask Wroclaw & Sokol Tychy withdrew after 31 and 26 games respectively. Whether they had the remaining games set 0-3 is uncertain but probable. 2008/09: Polonia Warszawa incorporated Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski into their organization before the season started. 2009/10: Jagiellonia Bialystok had 10 points deducted for previous seasons' corruption.Comments on the contents of this page, write to my e-mail address:
