Notes

1924-37: Championship decided in cupformat. 1938-40: League format. 1941-48: Cupformat. 1949 - present: Leagueformat. 1924: Championship not decided. 1925: The game Vladislav Varna - Asenovez Sliven w.o. to Vladislav, score set to 3-0. 1927: Championship not held. 1931: The final between AS 23 Sofia and Shipchenski Sokol Varna was a walkover to AS 23, the score was set to 3-0. 1937: The following games were set to 3-0 to the hometeam following walkovers: Vladislav Varna – Volov Shumen, Levski Ruse - Vladislav Varna (2nd game) & Levski Sofia - Levski Ruse (2nd game). 1941: FK 13 Sofia - Vladislav Varna (2nd game) was a walkover by Vladislav, result set to 3-0 to FK 13. 1942: There are some confusion regarding some results from this season. In the source I used, Sportklub Plovdiv is supposed to have beaten a team called JSK (city unknown). This is all well and good, except that Sportklub Plovdiv didn't participate in the following round and neither did the JSK team I mentioned. Further more, Makedonia Skopje only appears in the 4th round and onwards and no earlier rounds in the source I used. I think that Makedonia Skopje is the mysterious JSK team mentioned earlier and that the game against Sportklub Plovdiv ended with a 3-0 win to Makedonia and not to Sportklub. That would explain Makedonias presence in the fourth round as well as Sportklub Plovdivs absence in the said round. 1943: Chardonfon Gabrovo left a walkover to Tzar Simeon Pavlikeni and the result was set to 3-0 to Tzar Simeon. 1944: No championship held. 1958/59: Format switched to autumn-spring. 1984/85 - 1986/87: No points for 0-0 games was in effect. However, all drawn games are counted in my tables. 1993/94 - present: 3 points for a win in place. 1993/94: All games of Yantra Gabrovo were declared null and void following allegations of matchfixing. Season is not counted on Yantras seasontotals as now games were played officially. 1998/99: Litex Lovetch and Levski Sofia each had three points deducted, probably for fielding ineligible players. 2002/03: Lokomotiv Plovdiv had three points deducted for failing to show up in a game. 2004/05: Lokomotiv Sofia had three points deducted for failure to pay salaries to former players. 2005/06: Pirin (Blagoevgrad), (not to be confused with the Pirin Blagoevgrad, withdrew after 2 games for failing to settle their debts. Their results were declared null and void. The difference between the two Pirin teams are that one have Blagoevgrad in their name, i.e. Pirin Blagoevgrad and the other is just called Pirin. That's why I placed Blagoevgrad within parenthesis. 2006/07: Chernomorets Burgas (Sofia) had three points deducted for failing to register enough youth players in their first game resulting in the game being cancelled by the federation. Note that this team were called Koneliano (German) when they were promoted 2005/06. 2009/10: Botev Plovdiv had 6 points deducted and then withdrew from the league after round 15. However, the games they had already played were counted.
